Celebrate Halloween with Spooky Donuts at Mister Donut!
Who doesn’t love donuts? Donuts are cute. Donuts taste awesome. Donuts are perfect for every occasion: breakfast, lunch, dinner, special events, movies… Everything. Donuts never disappoints. The only thing better than donuts is, well, insanely good donuts. Like the ones they offer at Mister Donut, the number one donut shop in Japan that has finally arrived in Jakarta.
What makes Mister Donut different from other donut shops?
Mister Donut is the most guilt-free option out of the other chain donut shops available in the capital. People have become more conscious than ever of what food goes inside their body, and Mister Donut pays attention to this phenomenon. A member of Mister Donut’s R&D team, Tegar Feriantoro, speaks to us about how their donuts tend to contain less sugar compared to the traditional donuts, and each bite won’t taste overly sweet.
Okay, it’s somewhat healthier. What else, you’re asking?
They have seasonal flavours! And they take their seasonal flavours very, very seriously. Take a look at their Halloween specials, for example. Aside from the spooky looks of their donuts—think skulls, Frankenstein, and Jack Skellington—they also incorporate unique fillings, such as pumpkin. Pumpkin fillings are not exactly common in Indonesia, but apparently they taste oh-so-good. The Pumpkin French donut is our favourite; it’s buttery, nutty, and creamy, which goes really well with the dough.

Anggi Lubis tells us a bite-to-bite review on Mister Frankenstein, “I find this donut nice because it’s not as sweet as other donuts. Sometimes, when you bite a donut you only get creams because the ratio between the dough and the fillings are not quite right, but not this one. But I think some people will still prefer sweeter donuts.” She also mentions how she’s curious to see more creations from Mister Donut because their donuts are cute. We couldn’t have said it better!
