Trattoria, “Make Pizza, Not War”

Trattoria, “Make Pizza, Not War”

When you hear the word“Italy", perhaps you will imagine a plate of swirly spaghetti, a cone of gelato, or a pan of freshly baked pizza. No need to go all the way to Italy to enjoy those dishes, because here in Jakarta, there is an original home-style Italian restaurant that serves authentic Italian cuisine with a warm ambience. Meet Trattoria.

From the first time, Trattoria charms us with its cozy and quiet atmosphere. Soft yellow lights evokes a romantic feeling, reminiscent of a classic Italian eatery.

Originally from the Island of the Gods, Trattoria has now spread into numerous outlets in Bali and Java. One of their prominent outlets is located at SCBD Lot 8, Central Jakarta.

So what to choose after munching the complimentary bread or snacks? Although some will naturally incline towards the all-time favorite Spaghetti Bolognaise, make sure not to miss Trattoria’s spicy specialty, Spaghetti Aglio Olio. The taste is so yummy! It’s important to note that Trattoria never adds MSG, which means the savory flavors come from natural ingredients such as garlic, olive oil, and the homemade chili powder.

After reading their tagline, "We Make Pizza not War,” how could we not order a pan of pizza? The pick fell to Pizza al Tagliere. Oh, forget trying to pronounce it. When you have a bite, you can't stop eating! This large pizza has two different flavors, seafood and vegetarian. The portion islarge enough for you to share and enjoy it with friends or family.

After eating savory food, you shouldn't miss the sweet dessert. The signature dessert is pannacotta, which will most likely be your favorite. It comes in a variety of flavors such as strawberry, blueberry, and of course chocolate. Served with fresh milk and cream, everything tastes soft, not overly sweet, and melts in your mouth.

So can you imagine the deliciousness that awaits you at Trattoria? Hurry, make a visit to Trattoria with your loved ones. Delizioso!
