Nama Sushi

Sushi enthusiasts living in Jakarta most likely have tried—or at least heard of—the renowned Sushi Masa. Sushi Masa is located at a far, far away location at the very north part of the city, Penjaringan. This is why I’m truly excited to visit Nama Sushi, a new F&B brand by Sushi Masa, at a somewhat friendlier location: Bay Walk Mall, Pluit.

Nama Sushi owns all the traits of a reputable sushi restaurant: modern Japanese atmosphere, fresh fish, and a friendly service. The price tag is indeed more affordable compared to Sushi Masa thanks to its slightly smaller portion, but quality is definitely not sacrificed. Each sushi is impeccably made with precision and finesse. Our favourite: Salmon Belly Aburi Sushi, and the soupy Sake Zha Zuke.

P.S. Be patient when waiting in line, or come super early!
