The Caffeine Dispensary

One foot inside The Caffeine Dispensary and I already feel positive that the next couple of hours is going to be a great time. There’s the smell of coffee lingering in the air, the comforting voice of Andrea Corr that takes me back to year 2000, and the overall soothing atmosphere, just right for working.

The term dispensary traditionally refers to a clinic or a room where medicines are prepared and provided, thus making The Caffeine Dispensary aptly named. Coffee is modern men’s medicine: that little burst of energy amping up the adrenaline, giving a moment of clarity for the inspiration seekers. That’s exactly what The Caffeine Dispensary’s Cappuccino—or in its term, 5 oz of espresso with milk—does to me.

Kelapa Gading area could get very heated in the afternoon, despite the air conditioner and especially after a cup of hot coffee. Lavender Lemonade comes to the rescue! The punchy, acidic lemonade is utterly refreshing, balanced by the fragrant, calming lavender. This pink concoction is definitely a favourite of mine!
